Case breakdown
What does avatar.ai do?
Avataar (also known as Avataar.ai) is an enterprise AI company providing agentic AI platforms for autonomous workflows, spatial visual discovery, and 3D product visualization. Raised Over 55 million USD from Tiger Global Management, Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India), and other institutional and angel investors
The problem
Avataar.ai needed to establish credibility for its B2B business transformation offering while driving adoption for its newly launched B2C video-generation product, Varya. The challenge extended beyond product awareness: repositioning a traditionally B2B-facing brand as a credible, futuristic AI innovator for a broader consumer audience. The mandate was to build brand authority, communicate breakthrough capabilities, and accelerate B2C adoption without diluting its enterprise positioning.
Our approach
Building Category Awareness
Before asking the market to adopt the product, we established why the category mattered.
For the B2B business, micro-distribution alone would have created reach without necessarily creating sufficient context.
So we prioritised high-attention, high-context distribution first.
We secured a long-form conversation with Raj Shamani, using the platform to explain:
- Why Avataar AI exists
- Why companies need to become AI-native
- What AI-led business transformation means in practice
- The broader IndiaAI Mission
- Where Avataar fits within this shift
The objective wasn't to promote a product.
It was to build the category narrative around the problem the product solves, and establish Avataar as a participant in that conversation.
This created the context required for subsequent distribution to compound rather than operate as isolated impressions.
Scaling Product Adoption
Once the category was established, we moved from broad awareness to targeted distribution.
For varya, the objective was different.
The product needed to be discovered, understood and tried by users across markets.
We therefore built a global creator distribution layer, using creators across geographies and audience segments to demonstrate the product through relevant use cases.
Instead of relying on a single large activation, we used distributed micro-level exposure to repeatedly put the product in front of potential users.
The sequence was deliberate:
